St John’s Crystal were saved by Michael Harris who licensed the use of Azurene for the production of glass animals known as Minimals and Maximals. However St John’s abused the license agreement and made other forms. this vase being one of them. Following a costly court case production was ceased and also the company folded. These are rare pieces.
