Additional Information :

The Frank Welz glassworks was founded in Bohemia in 1728 and remained in production into the 1930’s. The factory was also known as Antonienhutte. This is clearly influenced by the internally decorated “mamoreen” and intercalaire vases being produced in France by Daum. Legras and others. Coloured powdered glass has rolled onto the white parison. This was then blown into the clear glass case before being acid etched.
