The iridescent finish was intended to mirror that of oxidised metals. bronze and copper. This was the height of vitreous fashion. Thomas Webb was another great exponent of this style from 1870 onwards. Much of Kraliks output is attributed to Tiffany. Loetz and others for commercial reasons. Their best pieces are as good as anything from those more illustrious producers.
