Bowl Features : Purple and olive green over a pink and clear acid etched ground.
Marks : Galle with accented Latin 'e' and an underscore angling down from the same character; crucially, the signature is preceded by a star which was added by Galle's widow - only for the years 1904, '05 and '06 - immediately after Emile Galle's demise

Condition : Excellent; no chips, cracks or flakes; there are some superficial bumps around the widest part of the body and two tiny striations near to the signature; also, a narrow, elongated bubble some 25mm long integral within the structure of the neck
