Additional Information : It is the 50th anniversary of Mdina glass this year. This variant of the fish vase is a modification to the Harris and Dobson variants. The wide flanks are mould formed before the shoulders and neck were hand fomed. This is a Jospeh Said piece a former employee who bought the company from Dobson when his own Mtarfa glass had already undermined Mdinas hold on the tourist and export markets.
