Additional Information : Produced at the famous Glasfabriek Leerdam manufactory. where Floris Meydam and A D Copier worked in the 1950’s; the positioning of the bubbles using formes with nails in place is a throwback to the manner in which air-twist glasses were made in the 18th century – a near-identical technique being used to position the ‘bubbles’ in the glass melt before they were stretched and twisted to form the stem cannulae
