 We will all remember with various degress of affection all those brighly coloured vases from the Holmegaard No5 range that many had displayed on G-plan sideboards in the 1970s.

Although Holmegaard may be Denmarks oldest glass manufacturer it was not until the post war period that they and other scandanavian producers came to the attention of major mass market UK retailers . Bright colours and simple elegant designs.

The most notable exponents within Holmegarrd were Per Lutken . Michael Bang and his father Jacob the most influential of all. The interior design gurus of Pamono regard this most highly.
