Additional Information : Tauno Wirkkala was the brother of Tauno Wirkkala. the world famous designer. Although he is the lesser known sibling this is a stunning piece of design. “Revontulet” is the Finnish word for the Aurora Borealis. It means firefox which is based on the local myth that the Aurora is a reflection of the fur of a mythical creature.
