Additional Information : The Strombergshyttan glassworks was founded in 1876 formally known as Lindfors glassworks. the name was changed 1933 while under the new management of Edward Stromberg. formerly the head of Orrefors. Gerda and Asta Stromberg were the lead designers along with Gunnar Nylund and Rune Strand until 1976 when the company was sold to Orrefors following a severe fire and financial difficulties.
This decanter has an iced blue hue a characteristic of Stromberg production shorty after Edward Stromberg assumed control and in recruiting his son Eric to assist with product development.
