SOLD – 19th Century Cabinet cup and Saucer

Description

Decortated in the style of a Worcester japan pattern or “queens” pattern variation. this is not Worcetser. The simple loop handle has upper and lower pointed attachments. The cup has an incurved footstring that us 4mm deep. There is a very shallow recess on the saucer into which the cup is placed.

It is very decorative and beautifully painted and gilded. Excellent order. It could be by anyone of  a number of English or continental factories.
