Bowl : Ogee . engraved with a carnation and a bird in flight
Stem : A nine thread spiral band outside a pair of corkscrew threads
Foot : Conical
Pontil : Snapped
Glass Type : Lead 
Size :  13.9cm height.  4.7cm diameter bowl. 7.0cm diameter foot 
Condition : There are two flake chips on the underside of the foot as shown.
Restoration : None

There is a well known and plausible Jacobite interpretation for the engraving. Carnation is a metaphor for coronation and the Jay in flight a reference to Aesops fables and acts as a metaphor for the usurpation.
