Date : Hallmarked GU for George Unite – but no date mark; placed at the latter part of the 19/early 20th century
Period : Victorian/Early Edwardian
Origin : Chester or Birmingham (based on the shape in which the initials are placed)
Decoration : Extravagantly chased and repoussé ornamentation; one of the original ten bells is missing. as is the looped hook with which it should be attached
Size :  143mm in length
Condition : Excellent apart from the missing hook and bell
