Condition : Excellent. no chips or cracks to the decanter which is also clean and clear. There are chips to the base of the peg on the stopper as shown.

You can see a similar form in amber glass on page 344 of “The Decanter. An Illustrated History of Glass from 1650’ by Andy McConnell’ which is a fantastic read. superbly researched and well presented. This is an outstanding example. it holds 64 fluid ounces. four pints. two quarts . call it what you will.
