Chelsea Porcelain ‘Hans Sloane’ botanical plate c1755

A very fine Chelsea ‘Hans Sloane’ botanical plate. painted with a marsh marigold caltha palustris in bloom. together with a wasp. butterfly and ladybird in  a most charming composition.
21cms diameter ( 8 1/4 inches). It has a hairline crack through part of the body else it is in very good condition. The hairline is shown in the third image in close up. If you wish to inspect this for yourself in person then please let us know and we shall make arrangements
