Description
A superb Georgian Opaque Twist Ale Glass c1760.
The engraving has ears of barley in saltire and a separate engraving of hop leaves and a hop flower. It stands over 7 1/2 inches tall with a 2 3/8th bowl and a 3 1/4 inch conical foot with snapped pontil. The stem features a single 15-ply spiral band outside a pair of spiral threads. No chips cracks or restoration. a fine collector’s example.
