One of numerous Thuringian factories of the late 18th century in Germany.

Unlike Meissen and KPM whose output was focussed and priced for the aristocracy Rauenstein was intended for more numerous the well heeled middle classes.

Both pieces carry an early R mark and are decorated with landscapes

No chips cracks or retsoration.
