Pattern :Central flower spray the rim with a garland featuring pink roses,yellow jasmine and convolvulus enclosed by blue borders heightened with interlaced gilt leaf garlands, the design repeated on the bowl exterior
Features :The circular form with wavy rim
Condition : Wear to the gilt on the footrim and top rim. Light scratching within the bowl
Restoration :None
Dimensions : diameter 22.5 cm, depth 7.5cm

The Year 1793 witnessed the execution of both King Louis XV1 and his Queen Marie Antoinette ushering in the years of 'The Terror'.

The painter Louis-Gabriel Chulot is recorded as having worked on the famous Catherine of Russia service and worked from 1750 until 1800 See: , Sevres Porcelain, Vincennes and Sevres 1740-1800, Eriksen S and De Bellaigue G Page 172
