Marcolini Meissen Bowls c1790
A very pretty pair of Meissen bowls from the Marcolini period. Very much in the Sèvres style. There are 6 floral vignettes. all unique. and very well executed within a thatched gilded border. Both painters marks No 4.
They are diminutive at 4.4 cms tall. One as a pair if hairline firing cracks. 1.2cms long as shown. Marcolini period blue crossed swords mark with asterix below crossed swords.
