Georgian Two Spouted Oil & Vinegar Glass Bottle c1750

Description

An exceptional Georgian Glass Oil & Vinegar Bottle which dates to the middle of the 18^th cen. It has two spouts. one for each of the two compartments with the seal down the middle. Each spout would have originally had a small cork stopper and has applied trailing wound round the neck. Sits on a high conical folded foot which has a snapped pontil.

This piece was originally part of the Prof & Mrs P.H. Plesch collection and still has the sticker attached.

Continental in original. it has no chips cracks or restoration and measures 6 ¼ inches tale.
