Description
A very nice Georgian Bristol Blue spirit decanter which dates to c1800
It has its original facet cut stopper and gold gilding around the cut pouring section. Unusual stepped facet cutting around the shoulders and the word BRANDY in gold gilt to one face. Polished pointil to the base.
English lead. there is a small small burst air bubble above left of the lettering. a period feature not a fault. some wear to the gilding as shown and a few minor scratches. This is in superb clean and clear condition with no chips cracks or restoration. Measures 8 ½ inches tall which includes the stopper and approx. 3 inches square base.
