An outstanding pair of Georgian Green glass serving decanters which date to c1820.
They have tapered sides with their original glass hexagonal slice cut stoppers with applied neck rings to the rim. Slice cuts down the neck and again to the lower section. Polished pontil on base.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. they measure12 ¾ inches tall which includes the stoppers. 6 inches tall with a 3 ¼ inch bowl and 3 1/8 inch foot.
A few minor scratches and small pin pricks as expected with decanters. A few nibbles to the base of the stoppers as shown which is again expected.
Unusual to find them with their original glass stoppers as they are normally cork and get lost over the years.
