Description
A German or Bohemian enamelled “schnapps” flask c1750 depicting a bird in a cage surrounded by flowers and foliage on each side of the flask. Snapped pontil on the base and its original pewter cap with the screw top intact (they are normally missing).
No chips or cracks it measures 5 ½ inches tall.
A pretty example and quite vivid enamelling.
Generally clean and clear with some minor residue as shown.
