Description

A superb example of a Georgain wine or port carafe c1830 with a wide pouring rim and slice cuts down to a neck ring providing a stable grip when pouring wine. Shallow slice cuts to the top of the bowl with moulded flanges to the base. Polished pontil on the base.

English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 7 inches tall with a 2 ½ inch pouring rim. There is some light grazing at its widest point it. This is a substantial weighty item for a gentleman.
