We have sold three decanters and decanter bottles with a coiled snake ring. This is the first on which the snake ring has been cut and polished. The coil has not been applied. it has been created by cutting away 3mm of glass from what would have been a thickly blown bottle. This type of cutting would have been very costly and will have required steam power.
