Description
A very nice Georgian bristol blue spirit decanter which dates to c1800
It has its original facet cut stopper with gold gilding which continues around the cut pouring section. Facet cuts around the shoulders and the word RUM in Gold Gilt on the front. Polished pointil to the base.
English lead. there is one single small chip to the bottom corner as shown and some wear to the gilding as shown. Outside this it is otherwise in superb clean and clear condition with no other chips cracks or restoration. Measures 8 ½ inches tall which includes the stopper and approx. 3 inches square.
