A pair of Regency glass sweetmeat jars with original Lids c1830

A very nice pair of Regency glass sweetmeats which retain the original lids. These are also known as covered jars and table urns or chestnut urns. Excellent cutting with square star or “ray” cut feet. Very few tiny grazes here and there (which you need to search very hard for. but we have to mention) and overall in superb condition. These were made in Ireland in the first few edcades of the 19th century.

They measure approx. 8 inches tall and 3 ¼ inches in diameter.
