Additional Information : Although the lid and the jar have complimentary cutting and fit very well. we believe the lid is earlier than the body. It is a little darker and we would expect as with porcelain examples that the cutting pattern was repeated on the lid. We may be wrong and we may not be able to prove this either way. We prefer to be cautious.
