SOLD – Regency Irish Glass Master Salt c1820

Description

An Irish glass master salt c1820 which has bands of deep vertical facet cuts above and below a central band of diamond cuts. Sits on a hexagonal facet cut foot with a polished pontil.

Lead glass it measures 3 ½ inches tall and 2 ½ inches in diameter. No chips cracks or restoration there are a few small nibbles to the foot and rim but they are very minor. A fine example that will adorn any dining table. please throw the salt cellar over your shoulder and bring back the table salt which are much better as they do not become blocked and can dispense sea salt. preferably Maldon.
