Description
An exceptional Regency period water jug which dates to around c1810.
It has a pouring section with notch cuts along the rim. Applied strap handle and large printie cuts to the main body. Polished pontil on the foot.
In Scotland. these small jugs were typically used to hold water to be mixed with whisky accoring to personal preferences.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 5 inches tall.
