Addtional Information : George the 3rd Baron of Edgcumbe was a naval officer who served in the Seven Years War. He was made Viscount in 1781. we have sold near identical bottles baring the baron’s coronet from roughly five years earlier than this piece was made. George was Viscount for only 8 years and very few bottles with the new seal have been discovered.
