Additional Information: Emmanuel College is alone amongst the colleges of the University of Cambridge ( aka Fenland Poly) in having had sealed bottles made. There were a few different seals used over the years with most abbreviating the colleges name. This example comes from the period 1830-1840 when the college had it’s name spelled out in full but having only one M in “Emanuel” a spelling which went out of use in around 1840.
