SOLD – Six Regency Custard Cup Glasses c1820

Description

A fine collection of six Regency custard cups all dating to c1820.

They all have round funnel bowls with slice cutting . applied handles. cushion knops on the stems above plain feet with polished pontils. Each one has slighly different dimensions. Placed on a tazza they would be used to serve sweet fruit flavoured and spiced custards. Today we may continue to use them for sorbets. an amuse bouche. or even gazpacho. Let your imagination put these period glasses back to use.

English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. they measure 3 ¾ inches tall to 3 3/8 in height.
