Bowl : Fan cut handle. Zip cut rim. Three bands of horizontal prismatic cutting over the slice cut side.
Foot : A thirty two point radial cut
Glass Type : Lead

References : The Victoria and Albert Museum have an example with a plain handle and the identical cutting pattern in the body. This they date to 1820-30.There are other examples shown within the standard texts with fan cut handles and all are dated to the 1820-30 period.
Although the 32 point radial cut foot is highly irregular in both the length and width of cuts we will would contend that this is a little later. It would be very rare to find a 32 point radial cut pattern before 1840.
Intended for cream. sauces or butter the glass piggin is as far was we can determine exclusively Irish in manufacture. The cutting is typically associated with Waterford ( Gatchell and Walpole and later iterations)
