SOLD – Large Irish Glass Bowl c1825

Description

A superb large Irish boat shaped fruit bowl with a flute cut rim and large alternating diamond and cross cut diamonds with prims cuts above and below. Sharp flute cuts to lower bowl leading down to a star cut base. It is very thick walled. This is typical of Irish and Waterford cutting in particular from 1810 to 1830

Lead glass. no chips cracks or restoration with wear to the base. it measures 5 ½ inches tall. approx. 10 inches long and 5 inches wide. It weighs in exces of 2.5Kgs.
