We believed this to be a “verre de fougere” a glass whose source of potassium was burned bracken. Testing has proved inconclusive and without rigorous analysis of the checmical content we cant make a firm attribution. The museum of decorative arts in Paris ttributes their example to Spain. yet there are no examples within Spanish collections. It is lightweight and very thinly blown.
