Heading : Engraved Georgian Balustroid Wine Glass c1750
Origin : Saxony or Thuringia
Colour : Grey hue
Bowl : Roung funnel; engraved with a pair of birds. one one the ground and the other taking flight. with a pair of floral/foliate sprays and text as below; fire polished thickened rim; pucella marks
Stem : Angular knop over a basal ball; triangular tear just below the widest section
Foot : Domed and folded
Pontil : Snapped
Glass Type : Lead-free
Size :  14.6 cm height. 6.3 cm diameter bowl. 7 cm diameter foot 
Condition : Excellent. no chips or cracks; mineral inclusions throughout and some rough tooling marks to the basal ball knop
Restoration : None 
Weight:  110 grams
