SOLD – Georgian Balustroid Wine Glass c1750

Description

An excellent Georgian Balustroid Wine Glass which dates to 1750.

It has a bell bowl with a solid section at the base. Sits on a very nice stem with a teared inverted baluster knop above a conical foot which has a rough snapped pontil.

Continental in origin. it has a single tiny pin prick on the foot which is at 12 oclock on the foot picture and as you can see from the picture. it really is nothing and can hardly be seen. No chips cracks or restoration and measures 6 7/8 inches tall with a 2 7/8 inch bowl and 3 inch foot.
