Description

An excellent Georgian Engraved Opaque Twist Wine Glass which dates to 1760.

It has a bell bowl engraved with fruiting vine and stars. Sits on a double knopped double series opque twist stem consisting of alternating red and white spiral threads outside a vertical gauze column. Sits on a conical foot which has a snapped pontil

Dutch in origin. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 6 1/8 inches tall with a 2 3/8 inch bowl and 2 3/4 inch foot.
