Description
A fantastic Georgian mercury twist cordial glass c1750.
It has a flared bucket bowl above a pair of thick mercury corkscrews. Conical foot with snapped pontil. English lead. it measures an impressive 7 inches tall with a 2 1/16 inch bowl and 2 ¾ inch foot.
No chips cracks or restoration. It has few air small bubbles in the bowl and stem as you would expect and is good dark metal.
An outstanding example and the best mercury cordial we have had in many years. Most have round funnel bowls (assuming you can find one) but a bucket bowl example is far rarer form.
