Stem : Multi-series air twist
Foot : Conical
Pontil : Snapped

Size : 17.1cm tall with a 6.8cm bowl and 7.7cm foot  
Condition : Very good. a small slag seed in the rim of the bowl

Weight :  305grams

Possibly Norwegian in origin. it is quite dark dark grey and and weighs 305 grams.The Kongelig Allernaadigst Octrojerede Nordske Compagnie sent one Morten Waern known as Martin Warren in England on an act of industrial espionage to determine the secrets of the English glass industry. Having tried to recruit glassblowers in Liverpool he was sent to Newgate prison London to reflect upon his sins. He was released on bail and in 1755 and fled the country.  Several English glass worker arrived in Noway together with many more from Germany where the “company” had sent other agents shortly afterwards. The names of the English glassworkers who migrated togehter with their families to the Hurdal and Nostetangen factories are documented.
