SOLD – Georgian Double Knopped Air Twist Wine Glass c1750

Description

An elegant Georgian air twist wine glass c1750 which has a lipped bell bowl above a double knopped multi spiral air twist stem on a conical foot with snapped pontil.

The air twist is very well executed and it shows little distortion through the knops. Conical foot. snapped pontil.

English lead and no chips. cracks or restoration it measures 6 ¾ inch tall with a 2 ¼ inch bowl and 2 5/8 inch foot.
