Description
An 18th century multi series air twist wine glass c1750. The round funnel bowl sits above a short plain stem neck. an inverted baluster knop and an annular knop in the mid stem. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration.
There is a silvered inclusion in the upper knop. a small fleck of glass on the inside of the bowl that has adhered to it as it has cooled and the glass has a slight rock due to an irregular foot from manufacture which may seem like a lot but its all pretty minor and we have reflected in the price.
Good colour and tooling as collectors demand and an aesthetic form
It measures 6 ¼ inches tall with a 2 1/8 inch bowl and 2 13/16 inch foot.
