Description
A large 18th century air twist wine glass. It has a bell bowl with a “swelling” at the base of the bowl. Multi spiral air twist tapered stem above a conical foot with snapped pontil.
It has a good high lead blue-grey hue. This is an unusual variant and it is a weighty glass.
English lead. no chips. cracks or restoration
It measures 7 1/8 inches tall with a 3 1/8 inch bowl and 3 5/16 inch foot.
