We are unable to attibute this to the Beilby family. Although William did use this motif with enamelled leaves particularly on decanters the veins in his leaves were not scored. If by Beilby it would also be right to anticipate a butterfly in flight amidst the leaves. Finally the painter in this case had a very light touch.
