Description
A very pleasing Georgian Air Twist Wine glass c1750.
It has a bell bowl wine glass which has an exquisite blue grey tinge to the glass. The bowl contains all the striations. inclusions and tool marks that are wanted by collectors. Sits on a Multi Spiral Air Twist Stem above a conical foot which has a snapped pontil. It stands 6 5/8th inches tall with a 2 1/2 inch bowl and a 2 3/4inch foot. English lead. No chips or cracks. I would say that the foot has had a polish at some point in the past on a small section but it’s very very minor and it’s a wonderful example.
