Description
A superb Georgian air twist wine glass which dates to c1750.
It has a round funnel bowl beautifully engraved with fruiting vines. Sits of a Multi Spiral Air Twist Stem above a domed foot which has a rough pontil.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration.
It measures 6 5/8 inches tall with a 2 ¼ inch bowl and 2 ¾ inch foot.
Excellent proportions. good colour and very nice engravings.
