Description
A magnificent Georgian heavy baluster goblet which dates to 1725.
It has a very large flared Bell Bowl with a solid section at the base above a teared Acorn Knop. Sits on a conical folded foot.
English lead. this is an exceptional example with a very generous bowl of goblet proportions. It measures an impressive 7 3/16 inches tall with a 3 ½ inch bowl and a 3 ¼ folded foot.
Superb condition with no chips cracks or restoration
A lovely balanced glass which so well in the hand…and big enough to be used with modern wines.
The white marks seen on the glass are simply light reflection.
