SOLD – Georgian Baluster Single B Handle Jelly Glass c1720

Description

A rare Georgian Baluster period jelly glass c1720 with an ogee bowl and a single B handle above an angular knop stem and domed foot.

English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 4 ¼ inches tall with a 2 1/8 inch bowl and 2 5/8 inch foot.

It does have an open air bubble on the inside of the bowl as shown. which has been there since manufacture and doesn’t detract from what is both an early example and a far rarer form than the double B handle examples.
