Description
A superb Georgian baluster wine glass c1725 with a flared conical bowl with a solid section at the base. It has an outstanding stem consisting of three support collars above a triple annulated knop. a true baluster knop and basal knop. A domed foot with snapped pontil.
English lead. no chips or cracks. it has benefited from having some fritting profesionally removed from the foot rim. work that was commissioned by ourselves such that it displays to it’s fullest potential
A superb example and one of the most aesthetic balusters we have had in some time.
It measures 6 ¼ inches tall 2 9/16 inch bowl and 2 ¾ inch foot.
