A magnificent Georgian Balustroid Toasting Glass c1750.

This is an exceptional form our first in 12 years. Haynes describes it as a “scarce variation”.  It has a conical bowl above a plain stem with a central ball knop. the plain stem is thicker below the knop. Sits on a domed foot with a snapped pontil. 

English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 8 ¼ inches tall with a 3 inch bowl and 3 inch foot.
